🔥 New in V0.6

📜 Major Story Continuation

V0.6 continues Black Fox with a substantial new chapter, carrying the narrative well beyond the end of V0.5. The update expands the world, develops key characters further, and increases the overall tension, consequence, and atmosphere of the journey.

🎒 New Inventory UI

A redesigned inventory interface has been added in V0.6, giving the system a cleaner presentation and a more polished, game-fitting look. Managing items and equipment now feels more natural, clearer, and more immersive.

⚔️ Weapon Slot System

V0.6 introduces a new weapon slot system, improving the way gear is handled and presented during play. This feature has been fully implemented and integrated into the update as part of the broader inventory overhaul.

🧭 Narrative, Flow & Presentation Improvements

Scenes have been refined for smoother progression, better transitions, and stronger delivery. Dialogue, pacing, and atmosphere have all received additional attention to make the overall experience feel more cohesive and more cinematic.

🧠 Better System Cohesion

Gameplay systems such as inventory interactions, equipment management, readable items, and progression elements have been improved to work together more seamlessly. The result is a more connected and consistent gameplay experience throughout the update.

⚙️ Stability, Fixes & General Polish

V0.6 also includes a broad polish pass across both new and existing features. Numerous issues have been resolved, and core systems have been refined to improve reliability, usability, and overall release quality.

Black Fox is updated roughly every 4–6 months, with each major version bringing:

🧭 New story arcs that push Halafarin’s journey further
🛠️ New items and gameplay mechanics
🎯 More meaningful choices and consequences that shape the world and its characters
🏪 A proper shop system (next update) — buy and sell items, manage coins, and interact with merchants in a more structured and immersive way

⚗️ Alchemy & crafting (next update) — the foundations of alchemy will be introduced, allowing players to unlock new crafting possibilities through exploration and discovery… though not all knowledge reveals itself willingly

🗡️ Equipment system (planned) — weapons and armour will become wearable gear, separated from simply sitting in the inventory, allowing for clearer progression and deeper character customization

⚠️ Minor updates or patches may occur between major versions to fix bugs, improve balance, or tweak gameplay systems.
